CES 2012: iWalk Extends Battery Life
And Protects In Style

January 10, 2012, Trevor Sheridan — There are many companies at CES that are trying to make a name for themselves. iWalk is one such company that is trying to make a presence, and they provide plenty of iOS related accessories. Their main accessory line revolves around extending the battery life of the iPhone with plug-in accessories. The most interesting product is the iWALK i2500 which is a bit bigger than a AA battery, and plugs into the 30 pin connector on the iPhone without adding too much bulk. It comes in multiple colors, as do other iWalk battery accessories that do come in increasing sizes.

The base model adds about 9 hours of talk time to the life of your iPhone, and you can invest in more expensive options with longer batteries. iWalk also makes car charging adapters and various battery life extenders for devices beyond iOS. The company makes cases as well, including slim cosmetic back shields for the iPhone that even include a mirror. There are also iPad 2 cases that protect the back as a slim shield that clasps on the aluminum back. The shield includes a magnet to hold the Smart Cover on the back when you're using the iPad.

iWalk is a name to keep on your mind for cases and battery life extensions, and acts as a nice alternative to Mophie with slimmer and lighter designs.
